Best Unsettling Spoken-Word Short Story Ever

October 6, 2011 § 14 Comments

I was standing in the security line at LAX with my friend Phoenix (let’s call him Phoenix) and I had just given a dinner party the night before where the theme had turned to murder for hire.  Now, in the security line, I asked Phoenix, if you wanted someone bumped off, theoretically of course, where would you even start? Like, a bar or something?  Suddenly the old man in front of us turned around.  He had frosty blue eyes.  He spoke with great intensity.  He said:

Do it yourself.

Buy a bat.

Burn the bat.

I’m from Croatia.

(The end)
